Hey everyone, I wanted to share this cool piece from the New York Times Opinions section:

It’s been more than 25 years since I ventured out on my creative walkabout as a songwriter. While traveling these songlines, I have had — and hope to continue to have — the good fortune to work with a number of truly gifted and inspiring men and women. One thing I have found in all of these artists, no matter how green or how legendary they appeared to be, is an uncommon thread, common to all of us, a strange strand of tribal D.N.A. living in our veins that connects us to each other. We experience the rush of taking something that has been hidden from the world and then we bring it back into the light to be seen and heard.
